Assessing the Intelligent Role and Approach of the National Media in Managing Social Changes and Augmenting National Security

In today’s world, news media has a special and unique stance in managing
the public opinion in a manner that political systems try to use news media to
direct and engineer comprehensive values and perceptions. As a matter of fact,
news media is considered as one of the most important tools to manage social
changes and developments and due to this function, it directly affects national
solidarity and finally, the national security of countries, as well. The main issue
of this research is that how the national media can affect management of social
changes and augmentation of national security of our country with the help of
an intelligent approach? Therefore; the main hypothesis of this research is that
the national media will contribute to augmenting and maximizing the national
security level through managing pre-discretion and prediction-based social
changes. To answer this issue, qualitative method and questionnaires were put to
use. Results obtained through statistical tests of this research (linear correlation
and regression) show that management of social changes has a positive effect on
maximizing the State national security by the national media and on the other
hand, the national media intelligent approach affects the management of social changes, as well. Finally, the national media intelligent approach will contribute
to the management of social changes with the help of Islamic – Iranian teachings
and the augmentation of national security level, as well.
