The role of Goods Trafficking in Production and Reproduction of Public Security in Iran’s Border Areas (Case Study: Kordestan Province)

Abstract

 Economy as one of the important parameters and functions in terms of security in a country, is of utmost importance. This research intends to investigate and address the role of this phenomenon in creating insecurity in regional level and
following it, the national security through posing the main question of “the role of goods smuggling in production and reproduction of public security in Iran’s border areas”. In this regard, an appropriate answer has been given to the
research question through collecting library and field information. In the field section, using the questionnaire with proper sustainability (a=08/), collecting information from the statistical society was conducted and in this regard, 70
people consisting of FARAJA intelligence and security managers and experts from Kordestan province have been investigated and analyzed based on their educational degrees and executive security experiences on an all-count scale.
The findings of the research show that goods trafficking, is considered as a factor influencing all the social features of a society and it also leverages different social backgrounds and the security of the border areas, as well, and beyond
that, the public and national security in various levels in a negative manner
