Abstract

The present study aimed to count the effective indicators on the formation of street riots in order to find out its impact on the national power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ultimately, six economic, cultural, media, social, political, and security components were counted and ranked using the Delphi method. Analytical studies of the internal and external factors affecting the unrest of the mentioned years showed that the unrest of the last two years has been a complex combination of security and social issues. Discussion of the components shows that the issues are complex and interwoven, and solving each one can harm the other. Therefore, policymakers should try to strengthen their rationality and efficiency by taking a deep look at each of the areas.
In general, it is clear that the serious weakness of the Islamic Republic, first of all in the media field, must be eliminated. Strengthening the media authority of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, increasing the social capital of the official media, actively confronting counter-revolutionary media, changing the type of confrontation with social networks from filtering to managing public opinion and active explanation, etc. are among the issues that should be considered in this context.
